Mike Leonard
President
In 1986, Mike Leonard began his construction career, a vocation that now spans three decades. For six years he worked for a commercial general contractor, where he quickly advanced to a Project Manager position on a range of job sites. This experience gave Mike the foundation he needed to start Leonard Contracting, Inc. in 1992.
Today, Mike leads his team on a variety of design-build, new construction, interior finish-out, and interior and exterior remodel projects. Leonard Contracting has extensive experience building corporate facilities, medical and dental offices, automotive dealerships, office/warehouse flex buildings, senior living communities, retail facilities, restaurants, civil infrastructure projects, and more. The firm also specializes in interior finish-out projects and the remodeling of occupied spaces.
Mike has earned a reputation among his clients, employees and team members as a trustworthy businessman of integrity, one who is deserving of the many industry awards he and his team at Leonard Contracting have received. Mike also is an active community philanthropist and volunteer, having given his time and resources to a number of nonprofit organizations throughout the years, including: Homes for Our Troops, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Clarity Child Guidance Center, Construct a Kid’s Christmas, and many others.
